May is when people all over the country celebrate Bike Month, which aims to inspire individuals to ride their bikes for various purposes such as fun, essential trips, exercise, and environmental conservation. Cycling, whether for transportation, recreation, or as a conscious lifestyle choice, offers numerous incredible benefits for individuals and the planet!

Metrolink supports initiatives like Bike Month to help protect our environment through clean transportation options while contributing to a healthier Southern California.

Taking your bike on board Metrolink is easier than ever. Just place your bicycle in the designated bike area on ALL our train cars. Each train car can hold up to 3 bikes. For additional bike storage, look for Metrolink Bike Cars identified by a yellow “Bike Car” decal on the side of the train. Our Bike Cars can hold nine bikes on the lower level. Onboard bike storage space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Most Metrolink stations offer bike racks or bike lockers for passengers. Please check out the Stations pages to verify if bike amenities are available.
